Spectacular Racing!
Close racing from the outset again this month! After last month's victory, Pete Rush returned to defend his crown. But did he manage it...
Qualifying order was Pete Rush, Joe Garret, and lewis Walker, none of them quite managing to go sub minute, as the track was damp in places, after a day of low cloud.
The main event very soon separating into two main pack's. At the head of the field Pete, Joe, Jody and Lewis had a race within a race, nipping at each others heels, until Joe final pulled out a small lead in the last few laps.
Closely following the main group, was a second cluster of drivers including Nick, Clive, and Glenn.
The times eventually dropped below a minute as the track dried out, allowing Joe, Jody and Lewis to crack into the 59's.
Eventual podium finish order was Joe Garrett grabbing the top hardware in his 2nd ever Open Race, Pete bringing it home in 2nd, not quite been able to repeat his top place last month, and Jody battling his way into 3rd place, after a sizeable absence from the recent racing scene.
